Dr. David McLain
David McLain, MD, FACP, MACR, BA from Northwestern, MD (honors) from Tulane in New Orleans. David was Chief of Rheumatology at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. He originated the Congress of Clinical Rheumatology, second largest rheum meeting in the U.S. Past president. of the Alabama Society for the Rheumatology Diseases & now Executive Director.
In 2021, the American College of Rheumatology gave him the Master designation, the highest honor awarded by the college.
OUR NURSE PRACTITIONERS
Nurse practitioners are trained in assessing patients' health concerns, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing diseases, prescribing medication, assisting with treatments, and educating patients about their conditions.
